Gwyneth Paltrow's Daughter Apple Martin Had to Pre-Approve Her Birthday Shoutout

"Don't need to break the old Internet again, now do we?" 😂

  • Gwyneth Paltrow wished her daughter, Apple Martin, a happy 15th birthday with a precious Instagram shoutout.
  • The birthday girl sits at a dining room table with a flower in her mouth, her arms flared out, and a big smile on her face. "You are so strong and so good and so damn funny and sooooo gorgeous inside and out. I am the proudest mama ever," read part of Paltrow's caption.
  • In the second image, Paltrow posted a text message conversation with her daughter, who shared her selects of pre-approved photos for the 'gram.

Apple Martin—the daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and her ex-husband, Coldplay's Chris Martin—turned 15 yesterday, and her mother shouted her out on social media.

"Happy 15th birthday my angel @applemartin I will never be able to put into words how much I love you," Paltrow captioned her Instagram slideshow. "You are so strong and so good and so damn funny and sooooo gorgeous inside and out. I am the proudest mama ever. Feliz quinceañera mi vida!"

In the darling picture, Apple is sitting at a dining room table with a flower in her mouth and grinning at the camera, while her arms are wide open.

However, in the second photograph, Paltrow reveals that she had a conversation with her teenage daughter to get pre-approval of which image she could post online. In the screenshot of their mother-daughter iMessage exchange, Apple sent over her selects for Paltrow to share.

"Also here are some options of apple approved birthday posts," Martin wrote. One of her options, a photo of herself in a black t-shirt with a deep red filter, appears in the screengrab. Paltrow texted back, "Oh why thank you. Don't need to break the old Internet again, now do we?" Her daughter replied, "Yeah let's not."

Back in March, the mother-daughter duo caused a stir after Paltrow posted a photo with her daughter that Apple didn't approve. The teen sassily commented at the time, "Mom we have discussed this. You may not post anything without my consent."
